In either translation, “A gift”,
“whatever gift”, not the gifts, the talents;
A singular gift we each are given
by the Creator, for His glory alone
Our “starfish”, the thing we are to share,
the way we are to serve;
A member of the body of Christ,
a disciple, a part of the church
Each of us gifted, for His glory
Sharing our voices, our hands;
Our special gift with the world
in our Creator’s, our Savior’s name
