Dipping Our Lives – v3

May we ever be Mary
drawn to Jesus
to the better part
the one thing needed
to spend time with Jesus
to sit at His feet;
May we be mindful to center
to ground our lives
in our Savior, our Brother
dipping our lives, our bodies
into the living waters.
Focusing on God
renewing us ever
in the depths of Your love.

Oh, may we linger,
saturated believers
may we drink of these waters
each of our days, always
Sitting to hear Your message
soaking in the Word;
Guide our feet, our steps,
walking on the path, Spirit,
where our Savior would lead
spending time, like Mary,
in holy teaching, in awe.
Sitting with God, feeling the Spirit,
drinking of that cup, our bodies,
each day of our lives.
