#Satan whispered a #lie #SexualAbuse #MeToo #sin #Shame

My body betrayed me
in that field that morning
my world was ripped asunder
by a terrible lie, not true…
 
Satan whispered a lie
that I was guilty, shameful,
that how I felt, my sin,
was greater than God…
 
My flesh reacted,
and I listened to Satan,
I believed His lie
that it was all my fault…
 
I already felt abandoned,
lost in my pain before that moment,
Satan saw an opportunity,
to separate me from God…
 
Satan whispered a lie
that my other sin condemned me,
that my shame was deserved
bearing that awful cost…
 
I did not share with anyone
the pain, the lies of that moment,
not for twenty-five years,
in silence, in secret…
