Something incredible
in the nature of God
all powerful, eternal
yet loving us, in spite of our sin
the fall from grace
from the beginning
disobedience
throughout history
Demonstrating his love,
descending from heaven
sending his son,
in the form of a servant
the infant in the manger
the man hanging on the cross
Entering the world
fashioned from clay
walking the earth
humbly, as a man
dying for us, taking on our stain
drinking of the cup
descending to the grave
Love, beyond our comprehension
triumphing over death
rising from the grave
ascending to heaven
redeeming our future
preparing a place for us
if we answer his call
and follow in his name
