We must cleave to his cross
to the yoke of Christ
letting go of the rest
leaving it at the cross
at the foot of the Throne of Grace
laying our cares down
that which keeps us in bondage
keeping us estranged from God
Laying these down
letting go of the shackles, the snares
freed to follow Christ
wherever he may lead
Spreading his message of love
that all may be restored
that all may join us
under his yoke
that all may be made whole
