Maybe like Naaman
putting a stumbling block
an additional hurdle, a burden
where there is love
Contemplating grace
more to be done
too easy to wash in the waters
that the price already was paid
Seeming that there is more to do
somehow to earn God’s love
thinking too much
when we should just believe
The price already paid
stamped paid in full
only to die with Christ
that we may rise with him
To come before the cross,
admit our unworthiness
that we can’t be
righteous alone
Needing the gift,
of God’s grace
accepting Christ as our savior
and to be redeemed
