Never forget
never cease in telling
to remember God’s place
where he should be
preeminent in our lives
The first of his commands
by the words of the scribe
the law affirmed
by the son of the living God
To love God entirely
with all that we are
mind, body, soul, and strength
all we hope to be
Ever on our lips
ever in our hearts
teaching one another
the love of our God
