God, as Christ,
knowing our fetters
the chains of this life
what it means to be you and me
Descending to walk
as a man
he knows our joys, our sorrows
giving up his divinity
Dying and rising
reconciling us to almighty God
mediating between us
that we may live
in fellowship with him
