That Part of God

The scripture describing
what it means to love
what there is about walking
faithful to God
the three remaining
but love is preeminent
because that is
the essence of God

That part of God
living in us
that calls us from our sin
that leads us to
our neighbor in pain
raising them up again
seeking to assuage their troubles
to change our course to them
to offer that part of God
that lives in our hearts
