A Piece of God

As long as I live
walking on this earth
the Spirit within me
guiding my feet

A piece of God
a seed of hope
planted deep
in my heart

Love, when I offer it
only from this
the welling up
the Spirit in me

Teach me Spirit
to answer your call
when my neighbor needs me
giving my all
