On a donkey,
a young colt
to shouts of Hosanna!
to our King
Entering the holy city
as a king
soon to feel
the lash, the nails
Such a week
now beginning
the Passion of Christ
at its start
May we walk
right beside Him
with the disciples
then and now
Our story
in the telling
of the sacrifice
of the Lamb
All our faith
in these days
fulfilling all
of our Master’s plan
The truth alive
sing Hosannas!
may our King
enter in
May these days
be an awakening
a sweet communion
with our King
