The crowd, crying out
unaware of the parallel
offering Christ power
the throne of David
The same choice as the devil offered
in his temptation in the desert
human power and riches
not following God’s call
Christ chose differently
humble, submission
following the path
laid out be almighty God
Giving his all
the servant’s path only
going to the cross
to offer us eternal life
