Ripped torn
asunder
the separation
heaven and earth
people and God
shaken
in the moment of his death
Jesus dying
Christ alive
the curtain torn
top to bottom
the breach of Adam
of our sin
atonement
repentance
let us begin
new life, union
our shepherd
leading, restoring
bringing us back to God.
