Christ’s life before him
entering in
on the back of a donkey
hailed as a king
Two paths before him
at least two I see
to be hailed as a king
of be nailed to the tree
Christ chose to be humble
the more difficult day
dying in suffering
that we may live someday
In heaven with him
in the courts of our Lord
humble we praise him
our life, evermore
