fetters on the infinite

we bind the unlimited

the Creator, the Master

we put fetters on the infinite

described in human terms

putting God in a box

a vessel of our creation

made of earth, of stone

of stuff of dust

God’s power immense

beyond our comprehension

seeking to bind the unlimited

putting fetters on the infinite

so we will understand
