stuck in my past
not able to let go
too much to bear, to
carry
feeling alone
bound in my present
the ache of the unknown
wanting to spread my
wings
but feeling held down
not sensing God’s touch
His call to me, purpose,
listening to the wind
joy abated, fearful
hope in a future
uncharted, yet written
known by God only
need to trust in the unfurling
