We grieve for the lack of
faith
for the disbelief in God
for our country’s
obsession with stuff
for the merchandise, the
junk
that gets in the way of
worship.
Another sign, surely,
of the end times, of
Satan,
Black Friday, Gray
Thursday
shopping without end
taking us from
Thanksgiving,
giving our praises to God.
Nothing of Jesus, of the
Christ
of our Savior, our Lord,
all of us lost sheep,
lost, led astray by the
Devil
gorged on the world.
