time frozen in place
the sixty-ninth completed
the seventieth to come
ending with Jesus
with His ascension to heaven
waiting, watching
for the time beginning
the time of tribulation
the time of His returning
one more week
seven years to finish
one more week
oh Lord let it come
but I am not ready
not nearly ready
wishing I was more humble
walking in my faith
wishing I was better
at sharing the Good News
so many out there
loved ones and friends
who have not accepted
your message
your offer of love
