we
hear in the words
of
the leader, the pastor;
of
those ancient disciples
of
the people before us
echoes
of their steps
their
faithful journey;
all
who have gone before
as
a people, in this nation
we
hear in the words
convergence,
our purpose;
what
God would have us do
how
we can answer Christ’s call
our
hearts opening
to
the words of power;
echoes
of their steps
beating
in our hearts
