just outside the city
across the Kidron Valley
returning to the garden
to pray that night
a place He knew very well
among the olive trees
a place to be close to God
to fall upon His knees
near the faithful
buried on that mountain
across from the Temple
by the Kidron Valley
among the olive trees
praying in the garden
awaiting the betrayal
stalking the night.
