Fingers of silver ribbon
gently, subtly swaying
moving ever so slightly;
Spring rain glistening
on the ribbons of the
crocus leaves, their
blossoms.
After the blooms have past
in the flower bed
in the back yard;
Silver ribbons planted
shimmering through
the foggy morning
