we are called, we are prepared

we are called
we are chosen
we are equipped
for God’s purpose

we are appointed,
we are commissioned,
in the service of God
for Christ’s work

we are prepared,
we are gifted,
given all we need
for the work

we are given all we need
to complete God’s calling;
we are called to serve
chosen for a mission

we are equipped with the Word,
with the Spirit within us,
to be Christ’s hands and feet
His voice in the world

we are sent, guided,
we are given the Spirit;
the Word informs our steps
out in God’s world
