Our life to be poured
broken, for anointing,
from our clay jars;
We are vessels for a purpose,
to pour, to anoint the living
Christ.
Do we fall before Him,
to our knees before Jesus,
do we wash His feet;
Are we the perfume,
do we offer our lives.
Are we the perfume,
the oil that was offered,
the life, the water;
Are we the offering, the fragrance,
the nard poured on Jesus.
Are we the perfume
anointing the Savior
an offering fragrant;
Are we poured, extravagantly,
a gift to our God.
