Cradled in
her loving arms
after His
death, His crucifixion,
the crowds
gone, quiet
the women
and the others
after they
lowered His body
from the
rugged cross
Holding of the
body of Jesus
the
Messiah, the Christ
forming the
pieta, before His burial
His mother,
the Madonna,
the mother
with her baby
as she was
at the stable.
God’s plan
come full circle
why He had
come to the earth
there with
His mother
fulfilling
His purpose;
The babe in
the manger and
the man
from the cross.
