Staring at the screen
the computer
watch the flash of images,
messages of nothingness
flickering bits of news
with no shelf life
random digits, the 1’s and 0’s
of our digital, ADD life
popping and fizzing
in and out of view
seeing too much
too much hopelessness
chaos in the Middle East
again and still
so-called celebrities with issues
smatter of blather
lost in the fading ether
the wisps of noise and motion
