Cremora and Kahlua
a pair of brand names
shared space in the brandy snifter
that bleary New Year’s Eve
they were joined
a little too roughly
when she threw in the ice
Maybe the shards in the sink
were for the best
because a dry White Russian
seemed like a bad idea
to the rest of us
