Church History
so was that walk that day
a history in the person of the Lord
showing for His companions
the fulfillment of text after text
His life proving the grace, the faith,
the love of the Father for these,
all of his children
A mystery shared, explained,
no longer in parables,
the Word made plain
by the Word made flesh
speaking of his history
