Before Christ lived on the earth
God breathed and the Word was born
the Word of God breathed into life
just as His breath gave us life
Holy scripture, the instruction manual,
the mystery, the history, the teachings
the prophesy, all there created by God
the hand of man merely the amanuensis
the writing hand of that which already existed
when God breathed the Word into being
