God’s Simple Question

We are the ones who make it complicated
when we are called by God
finding our limits
the reasons we will fail

We put so many limits
making God like us
forgetting his divinity
that he made the universe

God’s simple question
what is in your hand
something tangible and real
showing we are capable as we are
able to serve his purpose
the plan for our lives

We only have to be faithful
and answer when he calls
knowing he makes us able
to do his holy work
able to serve our neighbors
to the ends of the earth
