A Staff
Seeing only the concrete
answering directly
the question of God
more layered than this
What do you have in your hand
a staff the simple answer
but the staff was able to be transformed
to create wonders, to share God’s power
part of the master’s plan
We need to be open
believing as was Moses
to throw down what we have
and be ready to pick it up
