When We Say I Can’t
Looking down at our feet
the limits of our past
our humble feet made of clay
our bodies will not last
When we say I can’t
turning in on ourselves
failing to trust in the vision of God
the depths of his infinite love
We are able, for God’s purpose
to go and do his work
to serve with our hands and our feet
his grace to share with the earth
We are anointed, commissioned
empowered to boldly speak
able with the help of God
to bring his message of love
hope to the whole world
