In Our Exile
When we feel like we are in the wilderness
living in our exile, in this time and place
we have a choice to make,
how to live our lives
Will we be faithful
to seek God’s holy plan
will we step out and serve him
will we do all we can
Each step an opportunity
each choice we make
to serve our master
or turn our backs on him
We can do so much
to help our foreign neighbors
reaching out in love to them
until they are no longer strangers
