From our place of comfort
out into the night
hasten to Bethlehem
following His holy light
Turning from our world
the limited time and space
opening our hearts to Him
to feel His sweet embrace
Coming in this season
to the Master’s call
awaken from our slumber
giving God our all
Shouting out our joy
sharing with our neighbor
seeking our those in need
our sister and our brother
Leaving home for Bethlehem
as did the Magi
telling His story again
that others would know our joy
Hope Christ offers
in the Son of the living God
hope God has promised
in His coming to judge the earth
Christ will come again in glory
to gather His people in
to raise the living and the dead
to our eternal home
