The wonder of this season
if we truly stop to comprehend
the gift of Jesus
long before the cross
Coming to the earth
walking as a man
though eternal
facing the curtain of death
God loved us so much
that he became a man
emptying himself utterly
made a vessel for our sin
Offering us hope
in the coming of this King
our brother, our shepherd
the servant son
following the Master’s plan
