Hope like no other,
the healing of our Savior,
descending from the heavens
to heal our brokenness
But we couldn’t see Him
though He was right before us
God in the flesh, alive
walking on the earth
The leaders, the people unable
to see the Messiah standing
walking as a man,
in love, in humbleness
Killing our Master
the God of creation
climbing the rugged cross
descending to the dead
Hope like no other
in the rising of our Savior
defeating sin and death
rising to the skies
The promises fulfilled
in the life of the Savior
trust in His Word
the testament of His life
God will return
in victory, in glory
riding on the clouds, afire
to reclaim us to himself
Wait you Easter people
the Commissioned even now
God is coming to gather us in
as He promised in His first coming
as He rose to heaven above
