One Thing

A challenge in our hope
to focus our walk
in this season of joy
To shed one thing
that keeps us from God
that calls to us ever
in the way of the world.
To give something up
that depletes our lives
of the joy of Christ.
Leading us to say -
Oh let our Savior come
