To the altar rail
Come with the Magi
to His manger bed
We are called
in this holy season
to reflect on the coming
the coming of the Savior
Our God descending
the Creator, the Master
all of creation in Him
coming to the earth
humbly, as a child
Teaching us His ways
in humble servanthood
emptied of his deity
going to the cross
We must follow
our oil ever ready
our lamps shining
in this darkness
following our Master
in the way of humbleness
