A time of reflection
of looking inward
at the priorities of my life
of what I hold dear
Waiting in Advent
for the coming Christ-child
for the promise of His return
at the end of the age
What am I doing
am I truly focused
do I hear His calling
and follow His Word
What must I change
to follow the Christ-child
this God that poured out
His awesome holiness
Walking as a servant
to the people
humbly going to the cross
to set His people free
How can I prepare
my heart for the kingdom
the world for the harvest
when He comes again
What should I be doing
right not, this instant
to further the kingdom
a harvest for the Lord
