Each Disciple

Pentecost fire burning
the fire of the Spirit
changing us in the crucible
the journey from the cross
the ascension, the rising
of the living Christ
the descending of the Spirit
to set our hands to work
Becoming the obedient vessel
the hands and feet of Christ
going as we are commissioned
to do our master’s work
serving in the vineyard
lifting up our fellow man
showing them the kingdom
the gift of God to man
