Sensitize our wills

plant a seed of mercy
of covenant love
in the soil of our hearts
watered from above

Give us ears to hear them
those crying out
give us wills to serve them
conformed to your love

Change us into vessels
hands and feet of love
sensitize our wills
to do the Master’s work

Heed the cries of the oppressed
those beaten down
act in love to our neighbors
all here on the ground
