The light here before them
Fulfilling the word, alive
Standing here with us
In glory and laud
Offering us redemption
A way through the darkness
Yet some who should be leaders
Blind, unchanging
Unwilling to believe
Keeping the people from him
Denying the identity
Denying the Messiah had cometh
When they should be on their knees
