Close enough to touch his robe

If, like the woman,
broken, bleeding
if I could have reached him
close enough to touch his robe
my face to the dust
the smell of the mob
following Jesus
on that morn’
wanting to reach out
to touch my Savior
knowing somehow deep inside
that he alone can save me
