a blanket being lifted

the past not the final answer

his face growing brighter

clearly than the last time

I saw him, together,

a blanket being lifted

little by little

shaking off the demons

moving ever forward

knowing in the speaking

in the power of this moment

a change is ever coming

if we will only listen
