the chains, the ropes
what I had seen before
gone in that instant
seeing him later, after, in
smiling,
knowing the demons had been
smothered
the chains, the ropes of
these powers
had been slain, cut away
even for these moments
the light gaining power
strength to free, to lift
him
to raise his spirit up
