Left to our devices
our choices, damnation
our way in this world
the path we are on
all are headed to doom
Our ways laden with sin
so far from God
no time to begin, to turn
to come back from the brink
Only in turning
a radical reversal
giving up all control
do we live, are we alive
in the grace of our God
Healed from our brokenness
nothing more is required
fully restored, alive
by the sacrifice of Christ
