The green calling me, to us
drawing us in, to look, to
linger
into the verdant wood
while staying on the road
The forest wrapped around us
heading north on the highway
drawing us ever onward
for treasure yet untold
The lush spring forest,
calling
before the green hides all
the secrets
revealed for an instant,
within,
wrapped in softer green
