sealed from
the outside
the
perfume, the spices
filling the
space
prepared,
made ready,
for Easter
morn
sealed from
the outside
the cross
now empty
Christ
descended
to the
place of the dead
the spices,
perfume
put on
Christ’s body
the aroma spreading
filling
with fragrance
the tomb,
the sanctuary
the body, the
church,
filling, hopeful,
surely,
with the
fragrance of life;
Christ is not
here,
He is
raised from the dead
