The hand of God guiding
the Potter over our clay
leading us on that journey
showing us the way
Over the sands of time
the journey of our lives
Our feet leaving prints,
permanent in time
Impressions in the clay
for others to see
like dinosaur tracks, permanent
for someone else to read
In some distant future
the words we have written,
written on the rice paper,
as impressions in the clay
