within my clay, wonder
the hand of God, the Potter
the all-knowing Creator,
His precision, His design
amazing, eternal
the turning of the wheel
the unrevealed, the hidden
in secret, creation
at birth alone revealed, in part
in the clay, wonder
the laws, rhythms
gravity, hearts beating,
balance, turning
moving by God’s plan
all revealed, illumined
out of the darkness, the waters
the birthing of God,
our lives beginning
----
