The
hired hands
the
thief on the cross
those
who could not see
mocking
our King
the
living God
the
Lamb upon our altar
They
could not see
they
did not believe
the
fulfillment of the Word
Christ
came to save;
but
they denied His name
just
as had been foretold
He
took on our sin
the
stain of our shame
becoming
the sacrifice
a
choice not ours to make
walking
in the way of God
Dying
that we may live,
humble,
to the cross
